
(2007) In 2006 Ken Stout added one more event to the already scheduled 126 original broadcast. It was the international feed for the Indy Racing League (IRL) on ESPN. In 2007 Stout will be back in the booth on the CORR series on SPEED but will also add a CORR broadcast on NBC to the resume. The IHBA, Monster Jam, IHRA, and Lucas Oil On the Edge shows are all back along with a new series called the Lucas Oil Motorsports Hour featuring Modifieds, Sprint Cars and Tractor Pulling. Speaking of Tractor Pulling Ken will host the Lucas Oil Pro Pulling League telecast aired on ESPN 2. The total at the end of 2006 was 727 original broadcast, by the end of 2007 it will catapult to 837. The magical 1,000th show will land in the year of 2009 at this rate
(2006) Again everything is back from the ’04 & ’05 seasons with the addition of the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series. That series will add another 13 original broadcasts. The total number of original broadcast at the end of the 2005 season was 603 and by the end of the 2006 season will stand at an amazing 729! IHBA, Monster Jam, IHRA, Lucas Oil Late Models, On the Edge, and Speed Truck Challenge are all back plus and additional 35 races that Ken’s son Robert will participate in. WOW what a year, hold on baby here we go again.
(2005) For Ken Stout everything is back for the 2005 season that he worked on for 2004. That means another 100 plus original productions for 2005. The 2004 season brought the total number of original productions up to 490. One of the big changes for 2005 will be the increase of ASA Speed Truck Challenge shows. The number will go from 6 to 14 shows on The Out Door Channel.
Ken will also trade in the microphone for a driving suit in 2005. He will get behind the wheel of Art Schmitt’s Nissan backed CORR legal Pro-Lite truck at four CORR events! Lucas Oil has signed on as a sponsor as well as Nissan North America.
(2004) Ken Stout has worked on over 370 original shows in the past four years which have all aired on SPEED CHANNEL, ESPN2, TNN and THE OUTDOOR CHANNEL. He is presently contracted talent for Speed Channel as a Pit Reporter for Marty Reid's Championship Off Road Racing (CORR) Pro Series and is the Host of the CORR Sportsman series. In 2004 Ken Hosted the 26 International Hot Rod Association (IHRA) shows on SPEED, the 13 International Hot Boat Association (IHBA) shows on SPEED, the 12 Championship Off Road Racing (CORR) Sportsman shows on SPEED, the 26 week Lucas Oil...On The Edge series on SPEED and 6 races for the ASA Speed Truck Challenge on The Outdoor Channel.
As a Pit Reporter Ken will cover the 14 round CORR Pro-series on SPEED, 12 of the 24 SCCA Run Off races at Mid-Ohio for SPEED.
Ken will also be the Color Commentator for the 26 week Monster Jam series seen on SPEED.
In 2003 Ken Hosted the SCCA Pro Rally shows and the IHRA shows on SPEED. Also for 2003 Ken was the Pit Report for the very popular American Speed Association (ASA) short track series. All ASA shows ran live on SPEED CHANNEL. In 2003 Ken returned to TNN as the Host for the International Hot Boat Association (IHBA) shows, again covering all the play by play action and co-producing.
In 2002 Ken Hosted and co-Produced 14 IHBA shows on TNN and was the Pit Reporter for the 26 show CORR series which aired on Speed Channel.
For the 2001 season Ken was on the air for over 130 shows which included the 52 week IHBA series. He also Hosted and called the play by play action for the American Tractor Pulling Series (ATPA) on Speedvision. This was his 6th year with Clear Channel Entertainment. They have used Ken as their lead Announcer on their Off Road series that included 5 different levels of vehicles including Dirt bikes. Ken’s schedule with Clear Channel in 2003 had him doing 25 shows in the first two months of the year. Their races are held at such places as the Pontiac Silverdome, Houston Astrodome, and St.Louis Trans World Dome.
Ken’s appeared on Inside Drag Racing, Street Rodder, Super Chevy Series, Mothers Car Shows, NIRA Spring Nationals, and The Jet Car Nationals just to name a few. He was chosen by The International Hot Rod Association (IHRA) in 1999 to work both as an Announcer in the booth and on camera in the field for their twelve race National event tour. He was chosen by Roger Gustin to be lead Announcer for his Super Chevy Show events. Ken has an extensive background in both oval and drag racing. He has also been a key member of a Sprint Car Pit Crew and has worked both dirt and asphalt cars. Ken has also had the pleasure of driving a Pro-Lite off road vehicle, a Sprint Car, and a 9.00 second Drag Bike.
Work experience also includes four radio stations, WRAT 95.5FM, WMTR1250AM, WERA 1590AM, and WFDU 89.1FM.
