(2008) The start of the 2008 season was very special as Ken Stout was honored with the host seat of the Lucas Oil Chili Bowl aired on HBO PPV. It was a great start to the 2008 season that will segue into another loaded year. Stout will say goodbye to the Monster Jam series after a great 5 year run but will make a return to the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series on SPEED in ’08 along with Tractor Pulling on ESPN2. The steady Lucas Oil “On the Edge” show and the IHRA will return for another 26 original episodes each. Stout will also cover the CORR series with a mixed bag of shows on both SPEED Channel and NBC including 9 live broadcasts. The Lucas Oil Motorsports Hour on the Versus network will also provide another great opportunity in 2008 as the series has expanded and will again cover a number of different types of motorsports. Last but not least the IHBA will return on SPEED with the fastest show on water for 13 original episodes. That will bring the total to at least 122 shows for 2008 bringing the total number of original broadcast for Ken Stout up to 959 and just 41 away from number 1,000.
